Way to go Garret on your first solo! What an amazing day and an awesome experience!
Garret, you came to us with a Glider Licence and ambitions to move on to flying power driven aircraft. Although we knew your previous experience would be a great asset to your flying, we did not anticipate the skills you would bring to the table. To solo in an airplane after only 13 hours of flying is quite an accomplishment, regardless of the your past experience. You have got some real good skills there Garret, and we are excited to watch you grow into a Private Pilot.
At this pace it won’t be long, so start thinking about that written exam! Hit the books and keep flying, but take a moment to celebrate this great milestone in your life! Well done Garret!
