Master the Grass

Most Private Pilots only land on grass once or twice during their PPL training, and many have never landed on grass! Is that you? You likely remember simulating a soft field while landing on a long asphalt runway, lets make it real, and see what it’s actually like!

In this package

• On the ground we’ll review the Soft-Field technique from POH procedures, and your instructor’s own tips and experience (~30 minutes)
• Load up the 172 and head out to CNL4 – Port Elgin – 20 minute one-way flight time.
• Your instructor demonstrates a circuit, and you practice 4~5 circuits
• 2h total flight time
