Beaver Valley Fly-By

This is a 40 minute tour of the beautiful Beaver Valley, in Southern Ontario.  The tour departs the Owen Sound airport and heads for Eugenia Lake where the body of water pours over a beautiful waterfall into the valley.

 

 

We descend into the valley where we fly by the local ski hills, Tallisman and the Beaver Valley Ski Club.  As we proceed through the valley following the river towards Thornbury, the escarpment begins to rise up on both sides, almost to the point where it would seem as though we are flying just above the ground level at the top!

 

We exit the valley heading straight for Georgian Bay where on a clear day you will see the East shoreline including Lafontaine, Christian Island and if the visibility is really good, Parry Sound!  We hang a left at Thornbury and fly by Meaford as we make our way back to the Owen Sound Airport.  Don’t forget to bring a camera for this amazing flight!
