On a gusty May 24th Friday, you showed your skills and confidence and took off in a Cessna 172 all on your own, and landed it too of course!

You know Dean, when you reach this plateau, it’s a good time to take a minute and reflect on all that you have achieved, all the hard work you have put into your passion that led to this moment! It’s a heck of a lot of work, and you should be proud!
We haven’t sent many people solo on a day where the winds were gusting like that, but your abilities in the aircraft inspire the confidence that you can handle the airplane and can take the necessary actions as Pilot in Command.
